Barksdale, LA
Full Time

Company Overview
DelMar Aerospace Corporation in Las Vegas, NV, is looking for talented personnel who can tackle tough challenges supporting manned and unmanned systems. This position is awaiting contract award.
People are central to our business: we invest heavily to ensure our current and future employees are afforded every opportunity to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities.  Take the next step in your career by applying for a position at DelMar Aerospace today!
Job Summary
This position manages the Wing and Operations Group EFB program: the mobile devices, stand-alone computers, mobile device management software and electronic flight publications that B-52H aircrew fly with. Aircrew cannot fly without a current EFB, and out-of-date publications carry safety-of-flight consequences, so the work combines hands-on device administration with disciplined implementation of changing higher-headquarters security requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage the Wing and Operations Group EFB program in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and Baseline Configuration announcements.
  • Serve as the primary Wing EFB Program Manager and liaison to the AFGSC EFB Program Manager (AFGSC/A3TV); maintain Wing and squadron EFB Manager appointment letters and submit them to the AFGSC/A3T EFB Workflow organizational mailbox.
  • Perform the maintenance, upgrade, patching and restoration functions that cannot be handled at squadron level, holding the administrative passcode for the mobile device management (MDM) console, ForeFlight administrator access and local administrator rights on Exclusive Use Stand-Alone (EUSA) computers.
  • Administer EFB devices in BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (BBUEM) or the future designated MDM: configure, issue, track, reset and update devices; add and remove user accounts; track lost or stolen devices; and verify unit compliance through device audits.
  • Coordinate with the Stan/Eval Technical Order Distribution Officer, squadron EFB Managers and Stan/Eval representatives so EUSA computers carry current Technical Orders, Currency of Directives, Flight Crew Information Files, Special Interest Items and Flight Information Publications; publish standardized flight publications to Group SharePoint sites and shared drives; and notify aircrew of publication and procedure changes.
  • Manage the ForeFlight administration account, add and delete user accounts, and instruct squadron EFB Managers on configuration for worldwide FLIP use.
  • Manage the commercial internet service that supports EFB connectivity, acting as primary contact with the internet service provider, scheduling repair and service work, and escorting ISP technicians through base facilities as needed.
  • Serve as equipment custodian for all Operations Group EFB equipment; maintain inventory and accountability; distribute and enroll hardware-refresh devices in the AFGSC Device Enrollment Program and MDM before operational use; and decommission obsolete equipment through the Information Technology Equipment Custodian and DRMO.
  • Work with the Resource Advisor to establish sustainment cost and maintain inventory of EUSA computers, battery extenders, charging systems, faraday bags, lithium fire-bag kits, mounts, cases and cables, and report sustainment cost in the annual group budget process.
  • Monitor iOS releases and technology news to anticipate obsolescence, and elevate EFB requirements and concerns to leadership and AFGSC/A3T.
  • Use the Microsoft Teams EFB Program Manager site and SharePoint to track announcements, manage user profiles and assign training to new EFB Managers.
  • Produce the annual EFB Audit Report and EFB Sustainment Report, and support Stan Eval administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills (Minimum)
  • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked.
  • Working knowledge of iOS and macOS; two (2) years of IT or device management experience desired.
  • Minimum two (2) years of Microsoft suite experience, with the ability to manage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications.
QUALIFICATION WAIVERS
Specific qualifications may be waived by the Government on a case-by-case basis where a candidate has the knowledge and skills to readily support the mission, including device management experience on an MDM platform other than BlackBerry UEM and publications or stan eval experience from another service or mission area. Candidates meeting most of the qualifications listed should apply.
